SIRGAS Combination Center – IBGE
The SIRGAS Combination Center aims at combining the weekly solutions generated by SIRGAS Local Processing Centers, processed from the National Networks, with the SIRGAS-CON-C weekly continental network calculated by IGS-RNAAC-SIR (DGFI). This combination generates free and junctional solutions to the ITRF referential.
IBGE began the activities as a Combination Center in September 2006, producing experimental results from May to December 2011. From January 2012 onwards, IBGE began to generate official combined solutions to SIRGAS. In addition to IBGE, DGFI (Deutsches Geodätisches Forschungsinstitut – Germany) also works as a SIRGAS Combination Center.
The Combination Center is also responsible for assessing the solutions generated by Experimental Processing Centers, whose activities are assessed for a year at least.
Solutions from all the active SIRGAS-CON stations processed during each week are combined. Information on each station can be found on: http://www.sirgas.org/index.php?id=148
