Survey of Basic State Information
The Survey of Basic State Information – ESTADIC presents, at regular intervals, a detailed assortment of information about the structure, dynamics and functioning of public state institutions, and mainly of the state government.
Similarly to the Survey of Basic Municipal Information – MUNIC, and enjoying the benefits reached by that significant relevant work, ESTADIC was first conducted in 2012, with the objective of filling the gap resulting from the absence of state-focuses studies, notably with regard to public administration. Its indicators provide elements for the analysis of Federation Unit management and for the definition of public policies in this segment.
From the reference year 2014 on, the publications of results of the Survey of Basic Municipal Information – MUNIC and of the Survey of Basic State Information – ESTADIC have been released in a single volume. Since some of the topics surveyed are present in both, that can facilitate the analysis in terms of a federal perspective. Nonetheless, the databases for each survey remain independent.
